OUR SKILLED KRAFTSMEN SPECIALIZE IN A WIDE RANGE POPCORN: Not often used today, this style was popular in the 70's and early 80's. A heavy spray that required no painting and looked something like cottage cheese was applied to ceilings. Today Custom Textures experts remove more Popcorn from ceilings than they install, and replace it with one of the more modern textures. ORANGE PEEL: An overall fine spray that is much like the peel of an orange. This texture creates uniformity of the wall surface. KNOCKDOWN: This material is sprayed over a three coat surface. The final effect can vary from a fine "lacy" look to a very heavy "south-western" look. It is sprayed on evenly and than hand trowled to create the desired outcome. LEVEL 4 SMOOTH COAT: This is the most commonly used smooth texture and is often used in high end residential and commercial applications. LEVEL 5 SMOOTH COAT: Top of the line smooth texture. Takes more time to achieve, but is worth the effort. This level requires additional processing and additional touch-ups.
